Privacy notice

This notice explains what BigScreenMe does with the details you give us: on this website, when you contact us, and when you join a fan cam at an event.

Who we are

BigScreenMe provides a live fan cam for big screens at stadiums, arenas and events, at bigscreenme.com. It is run by Tarplee Media Ltd. We decide how the details you send us through this website are used.

This website

When you contact us

When you send the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, email address, organisation, and anything else you add (your role, phone number, type of venue, crowd size, what you'd like and your message).

Who helps us

These companies process details for us, only on our instructions:

Some of these companies may handle details outside the UK. Where they do, they use the legal safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK's international data transfer agreement.

Fans at events

When you join a fan cam at an event, the venue or organiser running it decides how your details are used, and the notice on the joining page tells you. We run the service for them. Your camera's video, without sound, goes live to their operators, who choose who appears on the big screen. It isn't recorded. Your first name and seat, if you give them, are deleted when the event closes. The souvenir photo of your moment is kept for at most 15 minutes, in memory only, for your phone to fetch.

Customers' accounts

If your organisation uses BigScreenMe, we keep the details needed to run your account: the names and email addresses of your team, their passwords (scrambled so they can't be read), and your plan and billing details. We use them to provide the service, to email you about your account, and to bill you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, and ask us to correct them, delete them, or stop using them. To ask, use the contact form or reply to any email we've sent you. We'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with how we've used your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change how we use your details, we'll update this notice.
